Welcome to Hust Roost Farm!
Hust Roost Farm is comprised of three generations of the Hust family living and working together on a small farm in the heart of the small town of Glen Aubrey, NY. The farm was born in 2015 when the family decided to turn backyard hobbies into a small business that would bless their local community. The Store
The Hust Roost Farm store opened in July of 2020 during the height of the Covid pandemic. Our most popular items are pizza and Gifford’s ice cream, but we also feature other food choices (see our Food Menu), grocery items, gifts, and many locally made products. To get an idea of what we have, check out What’s in the Store.

The Farm
After years of gardening and raising chickens, the Hust family began to expand their homesteading ventures when Casey and Rachel moved down from Rochester after finishing college. They officially incorporated as Hust Roost Farm on March 17, 2015 and began work on many projects. They had to work fast to be ready for their first goats and they also acquired other animals, planted a grove of fruit trees, and added blueberry bushes and strawberry plants. In the years that followed, an old house was converted into a country store, another old house was remodeled to make room for Smokey Legend BBQ, a large outdoor pavilion was built, and the list goes on and on.
