Hust Roost Farm Store Expansion

Many of you may have noticed the large trusses leaning against the side of the pavilion and are wondering what’s up. We are planning to expand the Hust Roost Farm store from it’s west side all the way over to the pavilion. We are hoping to have the trusses up and the roof done before this winter (2026). The new roof will be a mono-sloped roof with its high end starting at the parking lock and its low end 53′ back towards the creek in between the current store and the pavilion. The new roof will be built right over the top of the current kitchen (which will eventually be torn down and replaced. Once this phase of the project is done we will begin to make plans for exactly how we want to use the new space. In addition to a new kitchen, we are hoping to have a new entrance with a new checkout area which will free up some additional space in the current store. It’s all going to take time, but we will resurrect our motto that we had hanging on a sign inside the gutted out building when we built the original store … “by perseverance the snail reached the ark.”
