We are very excited to announce that Smokey Legend BBQ is taking up permanent residence here in Glen Aubrey, NY– on the property of Hust Roost Farm!
What is Smokey Legend BBQ? Long story short, they are a catering company specializing in smoked barbecue. Established in 2008 in Vestal, NY, they have been serving their gourmet selection at weddings, fundraisers, and festivals all across the Southern Tier. Not only that, they are the best BBQ in Binghamton, NY (it’s proven!)
Mike Mrva, the owner, has trained in competition BBQ for several years and has taken all he has learned to create his meat masterpieces for the world. He has also perfected recipes for comfort-food sides based on the BBQ joints he has visited in the South. Many people say, “You can’t find BBQ this good North of the Mason-Dixon line!”
How can you get your taste of this amazing stuff? Starting this Saturday, April 14th, Smokey Legend will be opening for Take Out on Saturdays from 11AM to 7PM!!! The weekly menu will be posted on Facebook and at smokeylegend.com.
At Hust Roost Farm, we are excited to partner with Smokey Legend BBQ for lots of fun events in the future. This summer, we will be building a pavilion between the BBQ place and the farm store, where people can sit and enjoy their meal and, eventually, ice cream from our store. As soon as the farm store is completed, we plan to host lots of family-friendly events and, of course, Smokey Legend will provide the food.
We are so grateful for the opportunity to host this amazing business on our property, and we hope your tastebuds enjoy it, too!
